Yatch Varnish

DESCRIPTION:  Urathane alkyd based, resistant against UV rays, durable, glossy varnish.

CHARACTERISTIC :– Protects wooden surfaces against water , UV rays ,rain ,and atmospheric conditions. – High filling ability, glossy , durable against corrosion and outside effects .

APPLICATION SURFACES: Can be applied on all interior and exterior wooden parts of marine vehicles , furniture  and similar.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

Structure: Urethane alkyd

Class 1 Long Oil Varnish

Consumption: 10-14 (m² / lt), 85-135 (g / m2)

Thinning ratio: 10-15%

Application tools: Brush, Roller, Pistol.

Drying: Dust repulsive 2-4 hours; hard dry 7-8 hours; 72 hours to physical and chemical drying

Viscosity: 110 KU ± 10 (23 º C)

Density: 0.92 ± 0.02 (g / ml)

Amount of solid matter: (55 ± 2)%

Dry film thickness: 30 ± 5

Wet film thickness: 60 ± 5

APPLICATION: Yacht varnish should be cleaned from dirt and oil, old paints and varnishes should be smoothed to obtain a clean and dry surface. On new surfaces, knots should be burned and filled with Silkcoat Pinotene. Before the yacht varnish is applied, Silkcoat Pinotene is applied to obtain a colored surface and further increase the durability of the wood. The sharp edges of the welding tips, edges should be trimmed and a smooth surface should be obtained. Yacht varnish can be applied by roller or brush. There is no need to thin it. When the application is made by spray, the product is thinned with 10-15% of synthetic thinner.

S62 If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Contact the first aid service immediately and show the container or label.

STORAGE:  Keep  at a cool and clean place away from sun light. İt can be stored  unopened 1 year  at room temperature.
