The data controller is Silkcoat Duvar Kaplamaları San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., registered at Kaleiçi Mah. Gökçeali Cad. No: 63, Çatalca / İstanbul, Türkiye. "Silkcoat", "we" and "the company" in this notice refer to that legal entity. Contact: info@silkcoat.com — +90 212 789 56 43
We process the name, e-mail, telephone, country/city, company details and message you enter in our contact and distributorship forms; messages you send through live support; and records generated technically while the site runs, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed and timestamps. Our forms do not request special categories of personal data; please do not enter health, belief, biometric or similar information into form fields.
Data is processed to answer your enquiry, run quotation and distributorship processes, provide product and technical support, protect site security and prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations. The legal grounds under KVKK art. 5/2 are performance of a contract (c), compliance with a legal obligation (ç), establishment and protection of a right (e) and legitimate interest (f); any processing beyond this scope relies solely on your explicit consent. Your data is never sold or rented to third parties for marketing.
Alongside functional cookies such as session and language preference, the site uses Vercel Analytics, which measures visit statistics in aggregate and without identifying individuals. Live support (Crisp) and embedded videos (YouTube) load only when you use those features and may set their own cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking functional cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
Data is processed on the infrastructure of our suppliers for hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), e-mail delivery (Resend) and live support (Crisp), whose servers may be located outside Türkiye. Your personal data may therefore be transferred abroad under KVKK art. 9, based on the explicit consent you give when submitting a form or on the other transfer conditions set out in the Law. Otherwise data is disclosed only to competent public authorities where legally required, and to our legal and financial advisers.
Form and correspondence records are kept, after your request has been concluded, for as long as the commercial relationship and any potential dispute require, subject to the minimum statutory retention periods (including ten years for commercial books and records). Once the period expires or the reason for processing ceases, data is deleted, destroyed or irreversibly anonymised.
In line with KVKK art. 12 we take appropriate technical and administrative measures against unlawful access and processing: all traffic is encrypted with TLS, database access is restricted by row-level authorisation, the admin panel requires authentication, forms are protected against automated abuse, and access to data is limited to staff who need it for their duties. Please note that no method of transmission over the internet can offer absolute security.
Under article 11 of the Law you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it is, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad, to request rectification if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request erasure or destruction where the conditions are met, to require that such actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred, to object to a result against you arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems, and to claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing.
To exercise your rights, submit your request in writing — together with information verifying your identity, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller — to info@silkcoat.com or to Kaleiçi Mah. Gökçeali Cad. No: 63, Çatalca / İstanbul, Türkiye. Applications are concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request; where the process incurs an additional cost, the fee set out in the Board’s tariff may be charged.
This policy may be revised without prior notice due to changes in legislation, updates to the services we use, or changes in our business processes. The version in force is always the text published on this page bearing the update date above; continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
