Blistering
Paint blisters in various areas, and in some areas this blistering leads to peeling.
Causes
- Using low-quality paint
- Applying paint during periods of intense sunlight
- Moisture rising from the substrate
- The paint film being exposed to rain, dew or moisture before it has fully cured
Solution
If moisture is passing through from the inside, resolve that issue first — otherwise preventing blisters is impossible. Scrape and sand the blistered areas. Repair any cracks and choose a time with suitable weather conditions.
