Causes
- Using low-quality paint
- Excessive pollution in the surrounding environment
- Using a highly textured paint
Solution
While dirt build-up can't be prevented entirely, using a semi-matte exterior paint reduces dust accumulation compared with matte paints. Avoid highly textured paints in heavily polluted areas.
