Features

A silicone-modified exterior topcoat with superior adhesion and water repellency. Thanks to its silicone content, Silicone Paint keeps surfaces drier and dries quickly, without blistering or peeling. It resists the harmful effects of rain, snow and sunlight, and offers high resistance to the corrosive effect of seawater in coastal areas

Application Areas

Easily applied on building facades: fine plaster, plasterboard, exposed concrete, concrete slabs and similar building elements

Application Instructions

The surface must be cleaned of all dust, rust, dirt, oil and old paint residues. After repairing cracks with Silkcoat Exterior Putty and sanding, apply Silkcoat Silicone Primer to obtain a clean, dry and sound surface. Dilute Silicone Paint with 10-15% clean water for the first coat and 5-10% for the second, applying 2 coats by roller, brush or spray. Wait at least 2 hours between coats. Clean tools immediately with water. On newly plastered surfaces, wait at least 28 days. Mix until homogeneous before use. During application and drying, ambient and surface temperatures should be between +5°C and +35°C. Flash point 41°C; flammable, harmful if inhaled or swallowed

Safety Warnings
