Features

Thanks to its strong binding property, it prevents gypsum surfaces from absorbing paint, allowing the paint to integrate with the surface. Besides ensuring good adhesion of the topcoat, the film layer it forms prevents water permeability. By preventing premature drying, it minimizes paint consumption. Being water-based, Izolac is harmless to human health and the environment

Application Areas

Can be applied to absorbent and chalking surfaces such as newly built surfaces, raw plaster, fine plaster, eternit, exposed concrete, asbestos boards, satin gypsum and plasterboard

Application Instructions

The surface must be cleaned of all dust, dirt and oil. After lightly sanding blistered and old painted surfaces, obtain a clean, dry and sound surface. If needed, repair defects and cracks with Silkcoat Interior Acrylic Putty. Dilute Silkcoat Izolac 1:2 with clean water and apply in a single coat by roller, brush or spray. Clean tools immediately with water. On newly plastered surfaces, wait at least 28 days before painting. Mix until homogeneous before use. During application and drying, ambient and surface temperatures should be between +5°C and +35°C
