Cracos

Cracos creates antique-looking spaces thanks to its cracking patterns. Its water-based structure makes it harmless to human health and the environment

Can be applied on all properly prepared old painted interior surfaces such as concrete, plaster, rough plaster, betopan, glass textile surfaces, and paintable wallpaper

The surface to be applied must be free from all dust, dirt, and oil. After lightly sanding all blistered and old painted surfaces, obtain a clean, dry, and sound surface. Cracos is diluted with approximately 5% water to facilitate roller movement and applied to the surface using a brush or roller. Depending on air temperature, it completes drying in about 6 hours. Silkobase Paint (glossy or matte) in the desired color is applied as the topcoat using vertical brush strokes (up and down). After a short time, the paint begins to crack. After application, tools should be cleaned immediately with water. For base application, Silkobase (glossy or matte) is diluted with 10% water and applied. For the final coat application, Silkobase (glossy or matte) is also diluted with 10% water. Since the cracking pattern varies depending on the brushing technique, careful and even brushing is required. Excessive brushing results in finer cracking patterns. Before use, the paint must be mixed thoroughly until completely homogeneous. During application and drying, ambient and surface temperatures should be between +5°C and +35°C

Can be stored for a minimum of 2 years in a cool, clean, and dry environment, protected from direct sunlight, provided the container remains unopened
