Metalico

Thanks to its pearl-like structure, Metalico offers a bright and distinctive appearance and allows for various decorative pattern applications. It has a high degree of scrub resistance. Its water-based structure is harmless to human health and the environment

Can be applied on all old painted interior surfaces such as concrete, plaster, rough plaster, betopan, glass- textured surfaces, and paintable wallpaper

The application surface must be cleaned of all dust, dirt, and oil. After lightly leveling blistered and old painted surfaces, obtain a clean, dry, and sound surface. If the surface is not smooth, it should be leveled with Silkcoat Interior Acrylic Putty prior to Metalico application.If the surface has been leveled with gypsum plaster, apply Silkcoat Izolac before Metalico. On smooth old painted, dirty, or synthetic painted surfaces, use Silkcoat Universal Primer; on puttied surfaces, use Silkcoat Putty Primer. After the primer has dried, apply Metalico to the surface in two coats, allowing at least 2 hours between coats. Silkcoat Metalico can be diluted with water according to the desired pattern and applied evenly using a roller or brush. Metalico is applied to areas of 10–20 m² at a time, then special effects are created using hand tools (tampon, brush, spatula, chamois, etc.). Other surfaces should be completed progressively in the same manner. The spatula can be used over different colors. Tools must be cleaned immediately after application. Before use, Metalico must be mixed thoroughly until completely homogeneous. During application and drying, ambient and surface temperatures should be between +5°C and +35°C. For very glossy or glassy surfaces, the surface should be leveled beforehand to create a sound substrate and ensure better adhesion

Can be stored for a minimum of 2 years in a cool, clean, and dry environment, protected from direct sunlight, provided the container remains unopened
